Practice Time — Terms of Use

By using Practice Time ("the App"), you agree to these terms. Practice Time is

operated by AXD Intelligence Pty Ltd (ABN 36 242 601 526), Australia.

1. Who this app is for

Practice Time is made for young children and is intended to be **set up and

supervised by a parent, carer or teacher**. There is no account and no sign-up.

By installing it you confirm you are an adult acting for the child who will use it.

2. What it costs

The App is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no

advertising.

3. Recording your child's voice

The App can record your child saying her answers so a grown-up can listen back

and check she really said them.

• Recordings are stored on the device only and are never uploaded to us.
• You choose whether to allow the microphone at all. The App works without it.
• You can delete every recording at any time: Grown-ups → Erase all.
• You are responsible for obtaining the consent of a parent or guardian

before recording any child who is not your own — for example if you use this

in a classroom or family day care.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the App to break Australian or other applicable law, don't attempt to

reverse engineer or resell it, and don't present it as your own product.

5. It is practice, not assessment

Practice Time helps a child rehearse counting, shapes, colours, sounds, letters

and numbers. It is not a diagnostic or educational assessment tool. Its

automatic speech check is a rough guess and is wrong sometimes — that is why the

recordings exist and why a grown-up marks them. Nothing in the App is a

substitute for a teacher, a speech pathologist or a medical professional.

6. Your device, your data

Everything the App creates — names, scores, recordings, notes — lives on your

device. We hold no copy and cannot recover it for you. If you uninstall the App,

delete it, or lose the device, that data is gone. Back up the device if it

matters to you.

7. YouTube

Where a YouTube reward is available and a grown-up switches it on, using it

leaves Practice Time and opens YouTube, which is operated by Google under its

own terms. We are not responsible for what YouTube shows. This feature is **not

present in the version published on the app stores**.

8. Availability and changes

We may update or discontinue the App at any time. We will not remove your

locally stored data as part of an update.

9. Liability

The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, AXD Intelligence

Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the

App.

**Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or

remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law** that cannot lawfully be

excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
